Below, we have tried to answer some of the most common questions visitors have about our voiceover work. However, if you find that your question is
not answered on this page, please e-mail us.
Why should I use you for my commercial? The over-riding reason you should use us, or any other voiceover professional for that matter, is that you like what
you hear and feel that it matches with your product or service. And the sound is more than just what the voice sounds like. It's the overall "sound" — the voice, the delivery,
the enunciation, etc. And of course we hope that our sound is what you're looking for.
Can you do narration
as well? Absolutely! It's been said we have that "trusted, neighbor
next door" sound, perfect for your next presentation to the Board of Directors or new company training video.
How about Public Service Announcements? Again, our believable sound is a natural fit for your nonprofit organization. Your cause deserves a
sound that will bring in donations or stir the listener to take positive action on your behalf... and that's the sound we offer our nonprofit friends. As a former director of communications for a statewide
nonprofit organization, we understand the world of nonprofits and their available budgets, so that's why we offer voice production for nonprofits at half the price of our normal rate.
What's the difference between an MP3 file and a WAV file? * Good question. An MP3, short for MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3, is a popular digital audio encoding and
compression format designed to reduce the amound of data required to represent audio while providing a true reproduction of the uncompressed audio to most listeners. A WAV file, short for
WAVEform audio format, is the Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing audio on PCs and is the main format used on Windows systems for raw audio.
How do you get me my commerical or narration once you're done? Thanks to the marvels of modern technology, we can e-mail you your audio files, either as WAV or
MP3 files, normally within 24 - 48 hours. We also offer the ability to use FTP to access your files at your convenience. We also offer CD delivery as well.
What's FTP? * FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a software standard for transferring
computer files between machines with widely different operating systems. FTP is capable of handling any type of file without further processing. If you prefer though, we can just e-mail you your audio
files or drop a CD in the mail.
