BYOC - Bring Your Own Cow

That's right, I said cow. Seems we focus alot on food promotions here, but this one really takes the cake, or should I say it takes the "MooLatte." Dairy Queen just held a nationwide promotion called "Bring your cow to Dairy Queen for a free MooLatte." And we're not talking about stuffed animals or cow toys, we're talking the real bovine! It was part of the kick-off for the state fair season and all you had to do was go to any DQ -- with your cow -- from 2 to 4 p.m. this past Tuesday, Aug. 24, for a coffee break, and receive a free MooLatteéTM, Dairy Queen’s newly-introduced frozen blended coffee beverage. And according to an article in PromoXtra, Dairy Queen headquarters has been notified by 36 operators of cows being brought to their locations, including Raytown, MO; Wills Point, TX; Lakeland, FL; and Lebanon, PA. Six cows, the most at any DQ location, visited the Green Valley, AZ restaurant. Think the cost of those 36 lattes was worth the press the promotion got? For sure! Check out the Google search results.
